3.1.15. Oil pump

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
M10 and M20 engines
1. Remove the pallet.
2. On the M10 engine turn off 3 bolts of fastening of the conducted gear wheel (or a nut).
3. Turn off bolts.
4. Remove the pump.
5. On the M20 engine rotation is transmitted to the pump through the intermediate shaft connected with the leading roller of the pump. For access to the roller remove a clamping plate and get a cap. Take out the leading roller and examine gear wheels. In case of wear of a gear wheel of an intermediate shaft or the bearing replace a shaft.
6. For replacement of an intermediate shaft remove the engine, a gear belt and a forward cover.
M40 engine
7. Take off a gear belt, a head of cylinders and a natyazhitel of a belt.
8. Turn off a crankshaft sock nave bolt (see subsection 3.1.11) and remove an asterisk with a dividing washer (the ledge on a washer has to be turned inside).
9. Turn off bolts and get the directing and stabilizing rollers (M40).
10. Get a spline (M40).
11. Remove the remote plug.
12. Turn off bolts and remove a forward cover with the pump. Pay attention to an arrangement of bolts which have different length.
13. Get a ring from a flute in a crankshaft sock. Vypressuyte an epiploon from the case.

Prevention

At each dismantling of the engine the oil pump is recommended to be changed irrespective of its state.


Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
M10 and M20 engines
1. Uncover and check a condition of teeths of gear wheels (rotors) and an oil receiver.
2. Collect the pump, ship in a vessel with oil and check its work, rotating the roller by hand. Of the outlet has to go out oil.
M40 engine
3. Unscrew screws.
4. Uncover the pump.
5. Remove an internal gear wheel of the oil pump.
6. Remove an external gear wheel of the oil pump.
7. Get gear wheels, wash out the pump and collect, without breaking orientation of gear wheels.
8. Check pump gaps between a gear wheel and the case.
9. Check gaps between gear wheels.
10. Collect the pump.
11. Get a lock ring from the reducing valve.
12. Get the plug.
13. Get a spring.
14. Get the piston.
15. Check a condition of all details.
16. Measure spring length.
17. Collect the valve.

Assembly

Assembly is carried out upside-down, on the M40 engine at assembly replace an epiploon and all laying.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish new laying on a forward part of the block of cylinders.
2. Press the new valve.
