3.1.18. Engine mount details

Check and replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. You will hang out the engine to unload support.
2. Check existence on support of cracks and peelings of rubber from a metal basis.
3. Check an inhaling of bolts of fastening of support, having shaken support the lever. If necessary lower the engine and tighten.
4. On the M40 engine check a condition of dampers for what disconnect them and check resistance to compression and stretching.
5. To remove a damper turn off a bolt. To remove a support, disconnect the battery from weight, lift the car, turn off a nut (it is specified by an arrow), raise the engine, turn off bolts of the lower arm and get a support. At assembly grease threaded connections with the fixing structure.
