GENERAL INFORMATION

The convergence of forward wheels is regulated by change of length of steering draft at the released collar.

For adjustment of disorder of wheels at car repair shop the top support of a rack of a suspension bracket which fastens these nuts is rearranged. The top support provides necessary correction of a corner of an axis of a rack.

The convergence of back wheels is regulated by replacement of plugs of levers of a suspension bracket by asymmetric. Marking on the plug indicates convergence corner increment size.

Wheels and tires

On the considered cars radial tires are installed. Tires have to change in a set on an axis. At installation on an axis of tires of different manufacturers track that the drawing of a protector, the design and the size of tires were identical.

Change disks at strong damages (a bend, dents).

The new wheel has to be balanced before installation on the car.

Angles of installation of wheels

The corner of disorder of wheels, tilt angle of an axis of turn and convergence of wheels are subject to check. Definition of angles of installation of wheels is shown on the scheme.

The angles of installation of wheels are checked and regulated in car service. On forward wheels are regulated a convergence of wheels (on a part of cars) and disorder of wheels. The tilt angle of an axis of turn is not regulated.

Disorder of wheels is regulated only when replacing knot of the top fastening of a rack with knot in which the special clown, providing necessary correction of disorder of wheels is provided. The convergence of back wheels is regulated by replacement of external plugs of levers of a back suspension bracket by similar knots with asymmetry of plugs.
