7.2.5. System of compulsory ventilation of a case (PCV system)

GENERAL INFORMATION

The system of compulsory ventilation of a case is intended for decrease in content of hydrocarbons in emissions of the engine because of a suction of gases from an engine case. Intra crankcase gases go for reburning in engine cylinders.

Device of system of compulsory ventilation of a case (M20)

System of the closed type. Intra crankcase gases go directly to the air filter under the influence of pressure in the engine. Gases with fresh air do not mix up. In a branch pipe for an exit of gases the flame arrester is established.

Hose of ventilation of a case

Gases come out a cover of a head of cylinders through a hose.

The filter is not provided in system of ventilation of a case therefore periodically clean channels of an exit of gases from dirt and a deposit.
