5.2.5. Moisture separator

GENERAL INFORMATION

Moisture separator

1. Relay of high pressure
2. Highways of the conditioner
3. Relay of low pressure
4. Socket

On a part of cars the moisture separator is mounted behind a back headlight.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Depressurize the conditioner and remove coolant in car service.

2. Disconnect the battery from weight.

3. Remove a windshield washer reservoir.

4. Disconnect from wire moisture separator sensors (on a part of cars there can be one sensor of pressure).

5. Unscrew screws and remove a moisture separator.

6. Installation is carried out upside-down. If the new moisture separator is established, then be guided by the instruction attached to this unit, rearrange on it pressure sensors. Replace a sealing ring. Fill system with coolant in car service.
