Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition – the TCI system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Designate and disconnect from the wire distributor. For a detachment of wires take off ignition distributor caps, having hooked in the specified places and having separated parts.
2. Turn out a candle from the 1st cylinder.
3. Expose the piston of the 1st cylinder in compression step VMT (see subsection 3.1.4).
4. Designate and disconnect vacuum hoses from the distributor.
	5. Put a tag on the distributor case opposite to the index of the runner and designate tags position of the distributor concerning the engine.
	6. Turn off a nut (bolt) of a collar.
7. Remove the distributor.
Prevention The turn of the crankshaft after removal of the distributor is not allowed.
8. Installation is carried out upside-down. Previously be convinced that the piston of the 1st cylinder is exposed in compression step VMT. Insert the distributor so that the put tags were combined, at installation the gear wheel of a shaft has to turn. Check installation of the moment of ignition.

Removal and installation of the distributor of ignition – the Motronic system

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Turn off bolts, take off a cap and a cover of the distributor.
	2. Unscrew 3 screws and remove the runner from the roller.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down.
