3.2.18. Cleaning of the block of cylinders

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Caps of channels of the cooling system are densely pressed in the block of cylinders.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove caps of channels of cooling of the block for what blow on a small beard drive inside one of the parties of a cap and get a cap flat-nose pliers.
2. Carefully clear the block of the consolidation remains.
3. Uncover with inserts, designate them and you store separately.
4. Turn out carving caps of the block of cylinders (or drill, and then banish a carving).
5. At strong pollution of the block clean all channels a vapor jet and compressed air (it is recommended to carry out in car service), wash out the block outside detergent. Banish all carving openings, clean and blow compressed air. Dry the block and oil veretenny to protect from corrosion.

6. Banish all carvings of the block of cylinders, having cleared thereby of dirt. Dry carving openings to exclude breakage of the block of cylinders at the expense of a hydraulic pressure at a bolt wraparound.
7. If the block is not really strongly polluted, then it is possible to be limited to washing with soap solution. Irrespective of a way of cleaning very carefully wash out all internal lubricant channels and well dry. Oil walls of cylinders to prevent emergence of a rust.
8. Establish covers of radical bearings, tighten bolts by hand.

9. Press new caps without distortions, previously having greased them with sealant. Wrap new caps of oil channels on non-drying sealant. Densely tighten caps.
