2.32. Replacement of the fuel filter

GENERAL INFORMATION

The filter is mounted on a partition of a motor compartment or from below about the fuel tank.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On injector engines execute actions for a decompression of fuel system.
2. Disconnect the battery from weight, having taken precautionary measures (considering that on a part of cars the filter is mounted near a starter).
3. At removal of the filter it is recommended to press hoses.
4. Disconnect hoses (A) from the filter, turn off bolts / nut of fastening (V) to an arm and remove the filter.
5. Install the new filter upside-down. The arrow on the case of the filter indicates the direction of a current of fuel via the filter.
