At the movement on snow and ice it is recommended to install winter tires and chains.
At movement along the wet or dry road, coupling of winter tires is worse, than at usual.
Type and design of the installed winter tires has to correspond to type and a design of the tires installed on the car. At installation of studded rubber be guided by the standards accepted in this region.
Installation of winter tires
In order to avoid unevenness of coupling of wheels with the road and loss of controllability of the car winter tires have to be installed on all wheels. You store the removed tires in the cool dry place. At installation of tires keep the order of their shift accepted earlier.
Pressure in tires has to meet standard.
Instructions for use chains
Establish chains of the suitable size, being guided by local standards.
Chains on forward wheels have to as it is possible to adjoin to the tire more densely.
It is forbidden to dress chains on back wheels. After advance on 0,5 – 1 km tighten chains.
When clothing chains be guided by the instruction of their manufacturer. If on wheels there are decorative slips, then remove them in order to avoid damage by chains.
The maximum speed of the movement with chains of 50 km/h (or has to correspond established by the manufacturer of chains, depending on that, which speed lower).
At the movement avoid sharp turns and arrivals on potholes, otherwise emission of the car from a track is possible.
Precautionary measures for cast aluminum disks
Throughout a run of the first 1600 km check an inhaling of nuts of wheels.
After shift or replacement of a wheel check an inhaling of nuts of wheels throughout 1600 km of a run after removal of a wheel.
When using of chains be careful not to damage disks.
Nuts of fastening of disks have to be company, tighten nuts only the key intended for aluminum disks.
When balancing a wheel use only company small weights (or equivalent) which fasten the rubber or plastic hammer.
Periodically check a condition of disks. At detection of damages immediately replace a disk.
